Founder – Brian Auré

Brian Auré founded BYOP Watches in 2017 after retiring from a career in law enforcement. Inspired by a lifelong passion for aviation that began in childhood, he created the brand to encourage people to take control of their own journeys and become the "pilot" of their lives. His experiences growing up, combined with his fascination with aviation and pilot watches, became the foundation of the BYOP philosophy and brand identity. Auré personally designed the early collections and developed the company's distinctive aviation-inspired aesthetic.

Brian Auré continues to serve as the Chief Executive Officer and owner of BYOP Watches. He remains actively involved in product design, brand development, ambassador programs, and customer engagement. Under his leadership, BYOP has expanded from its original Air Force Collection into GMT and aviation tribute models while maintaining its focus on pilot-inspired functionality and motivational storytelling.
