The brand has gained recognition through collections such as the Seaplane Automatic, Wayfinder Diver, Vice Series, and Retro Digital line, earning a loyal following within the microbrand watch community. 

Founders – Adam Farrand Hodge, Andrew Paetzold & Zach Switalski

Farr + Swit was founded by Adam Farrand Hodge, Andrew Paetzold, and Zach Switalski, three lifelong watch enthusiasts from the Chicago area. The brand name itself is derived from portions of their surnames—Farr from Farrand and Swit from Switalski. Their mission was not to reinvent watchmaking but to create durable, stylish, and affordable watches that they and their friends genuinely wanted to wear. Their first major release, the Seaplane Automatic, established the company as a promising American microbrand focused on craftsmanship and authenticity. 

Current CEO – Adam Farrand Hodge

Adam Farrand Hodge serves as the principal owner, public face, and effective Chief Executive Officer of Farr + Swit. He oversees product development, brand strategy, community engagement, and customer relations while actively representing the company at watch fairs, collector events, and media appearances. Under his leadership, Farr + Swit has expanded its portfolio beyond mechanical watches into divers, solar chronographs, and retro digital models, all while maintaining its commitment to U.S. assembly, quality craftsmanship, and customer connection.
